Getting Here

Directions

From Denver and points north of Denver

  • Take I-25 South to the Founders Pkwy exit (exit 184) in Castle Rock.

  • Turn left (east) off the ramp and follow Founders Parkway (about 4.5 miles) to Hwy 86 (CO-86).

  • Go left (east) on CO-86 toward Franktown.

  • Follow CO-86 (about 20.5 miles) through Franktown and Elizabeth and just before entering downtown Kiowa, take a right (south) on Elbert Road/CR-25/CR-41 (toward the Boy Scout Camp).

  • Go about 14 miles (through and past the town of Elbert) to CR 82.

  • Note: You will pass Peaceful Valley Boy Scout Camp on the left and Magness Adventure Camp and JCC on the right.

  • Turn right (west) onto CR 82.

  • Go about .3 miles to two driveways on the right. Dhamma Sela is the second driveway, the one without a locked gate. There is a sign on the entry.

From points south of Castle Rock

  • Take I-25 North to exit 181, Wilcox St./Plum Creek Parkway

  • Turn left (north) at STOP sign and you’ll be on Wilcox St.

  • You will enter downtown Castle Rock

  • Turn right on 5th; 5th St. becomes CO-86

  • Follow CO-86 through Franktown and Elizabeth; just before entering downtown Kiowa, take a right (south) on Elbert Road (toward the Boy Scout Camp)

  • Go about 14 miles to CR 82.

  • Note: You will pass Peaceful Valley Boy Scout Camp, Magness Adventure Camp, and JCC

  • Turn right (west) onto CR 82.

  • Go about .3 miles to two driveways on the right. Dhamma Sela is the second driveway, the one without a locked gate. There is a sign on the entry.

Once you've arrived at the entrance gate

  • Turn right (north) and continue along the driveway until you see the house. Then pass the house toward the barn and behind the house you will see the parking lot.

  • Walk around to the main entrance of the house on the southeast side.
